What is a Chrome Extension? #

A Chrome Extension is like a small helper for your web browser (Google Chrome). Think of it as an app you add to your browser to make it more useful or add special features. Just like you download apps on your phone to do things like take photos, play games, or send messages, Chrome Extensions are added to your browser to make browsing the internet easier or more fun.

What does MYO Studio do? #

MYO Studio adds a suite of new features to the Yoto MYO creation pages on the Yoto website (https://my.yotoplay.com/my-cards). It makes creating Yoto 'make your own' cards 100 times easier and faster. Once installed you'll see lots of new blue buttons on the interface. Some highlights include:

  • Search icons by keywords
  • Select icons directly from YotoIcons.com
  • Print cover art work from your library or the Yoto Store
  • Combine playlists by importing tracks from existing playlists

How do I get it? #

Navigate to the MYO Studio's page on the Chrome Web Store. Click the "Add to Chrome" button which will install it to your browser.

How do I use it? #

Once installed, simply go to the MYO Pages (https://my.yotoplay.com/my-cards) on Yoto website and you should see all the new buttons on the page.

You don't need to 'start' or 'activate' the extension to use it. It will add all the features to the MYO Page automatically.

If you don't see the new buttons straight away, try refreshing the page or restarting the browser.
